Today we stepped into a place where childhood looks very different.
Surrounded by tall stacks of bricks and dusty ground, we gathered with precious children who have never seen the inside of a classroom… who have never sat in a church pew… who spend their days in the heat of brick kilns instead of holding school bags.
Yet when we arrived, their faces lit up.
They sat on a simple red mat, barefoot, curious, and full of life. We sang together. We prayed together. We shared stories of hope. A simple puppet made them laugh. A small packet of snacks felt like a treasure in their hands. And for a little while, the heavy reality of labor and hardship was replaced with joy.
These children are not in school. Many cannot read or write. They work alongside their parents to survive. Education feels like a distant dream. Church feels out of reach. But today, in the middle of those brick walls, God’s love showed up.
As they closed their eyes to pray, tiny hands lifted in faith, we were reminded:
- They are not forgotten.
- They are not invisible.
- They are deeply loved.
But one visit is not enough.
These children need:
- Basic education and learning materials
- Regular meals and nutrition
- Clothes and shoes
- Ongoing spiritual support and mentoring
- A safe place to grow and dream
What costs us so little can change everything for them.
If your heart is moved, please consider supporting this ministry. Your giving can help provide education, food, and hope to children who deserve so much more than a life shaped only by bricks and dust.
Let’s help them hold books instead of bricks. Let’s help them discover their worth. Let’s remind them that their future can be brighter than their present.
Together, we can build more than kilns. We can build hope. 💛
